Hopefully the RHS has done trials under controlled conditions. All that I can say is that I used a similar or identical product on 280 griselinia hedging plants on heavy clay soil 12 years ago and they did very well. It's a bit premature yet, but the latest application on a flamingo willow tree seems to be beneficial. Compared to the cost of some trees its probably a good investment.
