You can definitely smell the pea protein, but don't let that out you off. They are so easy to make and very tasty. I have made burgers and also added tvp to make veggie meatballs. You need to make sure they have some oil otherwise they can be a little dry, but really pleased with these, so much so that I ordered more! Boiling water then usually potato and leek cuppa soup. It thickens as well as being very tasty. (Plenty of fresh fruit and veg at other times for healths sake) To complete the 'dish' some meat. The latest is Vegan Burger mix by NutreeLife. Convenient and easy to prepare. And really enjoyable. Boiling water. Pat into shape. Fry each side for five minutes and thats it. Meatless has certainly come a long way since I last tried it. You don't have to be vegetarian.
