I shopped around before I chose this brand and found it to be the most cost effective and highly praised one. I wasn't disappointed. As this is a natural product I found that the second jar tasted quite different to the first but still as delicious and smooth. I bought the 15+ Manuka as a supplement as I had read that it helped the immune system from getting colds etc and also as an aid to prevent hay fever symptoms. I've suffered badly from hay fever for years and always felt at the mercy of antihistamine tablets. So far this year I've only needed to take 1 hay fever tablet - and that was before I purchased this honey! I tend to take one teaspoonful every few days and this has got me through the entire (hot!) summer without the need for tablets - no streaming nose and eyes, no sneezing. This has made such a difference and I really wash't expecting it to. The price on Amazon is so much more reasonable than any I've seen in the shops and I'm very impressed with the quality. I wanted my animals to combat the condition with their immune system rather than getting antibiotics from the vet as i felt this would help them to combat any future infections. Although most animals will recover without intervention, in 48 hours I have seen a massive improvement in symptoms with a lessening of the sneezing and snuffling. The honey also soothes their throats. The honey tastes delicious and i am going to start taking it daily myself. It is an expensive product but worth the cost if it gives such good health benefits.
