Our colours can be mixed with each other or thinned with water. The paint is used in very thin coats and dried between each coat so it does not clog the natural grain of the leather, this also means a little goes a long way. Did not stain my leather shoes. Although at first the permanence appeared as described. I wore new shoes for 3 hours and creases in leather cracked. Grass was damp and where leather got damp supposed stain peeled! It took me 2 hours to peel & scratch the dam stuff off.....not amused! Easy to apply. Can't comment on longevity of the treatment as yet, but there is more than enough to repeat the process many times over. Bottoms and feet have moved around on the repaired areas over the past couple of weeks, but there is no sign of further wear to date.
