The skirt is of a good material with some give. Yes it is short but no shorter than the girls, including my daughters have chosen to buy and wear. I wish i had taken a picture; my youngest, age 16 said 'Mum what is that ? - me - a skirt for work - My daughter 'Mum that i cannot wear its far too short' - i then held up one of the pieces of cloth named a skirt and got the rolling eyes look.
