I also found it still seemed a little grey to my eyes even with the two coats but perhaps I'm being picky. It certainly needs a good quality undercoat and topcoat as I found it chipped within hours when left unprotected (thought I am a little rough on my nails truth be told) Interestingly, the China Glaze polishes I've recently bought have a lot less odor than other varnishes in my collection so much so that when I'd finished painting my nails, rather than asking me to open a window, my keen nosed other-half remarked that there was so little smell he didn't even know I'd opened the bottles.
