Trim carpenter here. This is the best pencil for maintaining a clean line and not losing it 5 minutes after putting it down. The sheath securely anywhere. I no longer have a pocket full of pencils, just this guy.

Just the right size lead for accurate layout and never needs sharpening. Could use an eraser

I was always laying my pencil down in the shop and would have to go looking for it. This mechanical pencil nests in it's own holder that clips to your pants/shirt pocket. I picked this paticular Pica pencil for it's fine line performance. This is my most "go to "tool" in the shop.

I have owned the original pica pencil which has lasted longer than the .9 version. But the constant sharpening with the original makes the .9 more useful to me as a carpenter even though the mechanism doesn't seem to be as strong has the original. But with that said it lasted about 6 months hard use. I keep 2 backups just in case, i like it that much. Wish they had a 1.3mm version as well.

Received a pack of refills but not the pen

Excellent pencil with easily breakable lead but that's on the user to be careful. I took a star off because there is absolutely no way this thing is worth 20 bucks.
