The material was not what I expected. It was mostly stretchy polyester, and not very soft. It's okay to wear a shirt underneath, but I wouldn't want the material next to my skin for along period of time. This was a gift and they like it, so that's what counts. Also, the print on the mens shirt had some light spots that were lighter blue. It looked like a problem with the ink. Luckily, it was still good enough to give as a gift.
