I used the chalk for some straight-legged deadlifts and it worked as good if not better than standard chalk bricks or powder. I like the portability of the bottle. There's ZERO mess in my gym bag. I should have ordered both the big and small bottles. I can use the bigger bottle to refill the smaller one. Also...based on size, the smaller size should be TSA friendly...so for you travelers out there that carry your own gear with you, this is PERFECT.
