Never expected the throttle control such as acceleration and breaking could be so fine tuned and smooth, never jerking you around whether braking or accelerating. I love these new bigger 97mm wheels with bones bearings to top off the upgrade, they ride so much smoother n let you just coast n go over rough patches much easier. I live in Key West, FL where its mostly flat with no hills except for bridges and I logged my ride the other night at 6.99 miles and the red light on the tee began flashing and I was on the opposite end of my town than my house so I slowed down the rest of the way not sure if I was going to make it home or not. I know I was in pro mode but I only used 50%-75% power while driving around the beach on flat ground so the battery shouldn't be that low so quickly. And again tonight i used my gps to track n log my miles per charge and with a fully charged battery cruising at about 15-18mph and I only rode 5 miles n came home but as I arrived the red board battery started blinking which the directions say means your board only has 12.5% power. So I'm going to do a total distance run at around that same speed n see how far it goes till it stops using my gps. I have put 1 longer trip that was just under mine miles but I went slower but I got tired before the board stopped so I have yet to have that stat down but the review on the board is definately 5 stars+++. I hope people give this board a try because they will fall in love. I'm saving for another I'm that blown away with the riding experience I'm getting on for a guest to ride with me. And I'm not new to this, by far, this is my 4th e-board in 2 yrs. So I can really attest to the unriveled quality this new board offers and the advancements this board has made to make the ride n responsiveness to the throttle n brake absolutely perfect, they hit the sweet spot, whether it was on purpose or not, that's what happened, perfection in my eyes, at least as perfect as they come! Update: 11\13\17 I set out to see how far I could travel on a Fully Charged Battery under average riding conditions, staying between 14-19mph, and also coasting a little: letting go of the throttle at 19mph n coasting down to about 10mph then slowly speed back up. I made it all the way around the island and back home where I went up n down the street until the board stopped n my GPS read 12.05 miles! Also, I had the board in speed mode but didn't get near 18-20 miles as claimed in ad but this could be because the battery isn't broken in yet as this is just my 4th ride and I bet they did the distance test using beginner mode which really limits your speed but you would probably be able to get closer to the advertised distance cause you wouldn't be using as much power. I'm extremely satisfied with this new board n think it should be the benchmark of all e-boards. Others need to take notes from Koowheel, they truly got it right this time. Now, I'll just order an extra battery which is very light weight n portable in a backpack as I have a few from my older Koowheel. I haven't tried to see is they are compatible yet but I wrote n asked n they said it might be possible n to try it out but everything about my new one is so perfect I don't want to change anything yet. Just gonna keep riding with the original battery my new board came with n see how well it breaks in after about a month, then i'll update the review again. The only downside of my purchase experience is that Koowheel forgot to include the extra pair of wheels but said they would mail them separately but I haven't received them yet but these wheels are sturdy and should last a long time before needing to be swapped out so hopefully my extra wheels will be here before that. Just received my new rear wheels and man are they slick shinny black that feels more plasticy than rubbery, an upgraded material for a smoother ride. This was my first time changing hub motor wheels but can't believe how easy it was, on n off, tighten the screws n your done. These wheels feel so much smoother when riding than the original rubber ones it's amazing n the ride is even better now, way to go Koowheel! ### ⭐⭐ Fun for a while. *by T***O on March 24, 2018* These boards have problems. I could have dealt with the voltage sag, the lack of flex, the lack of hill-climbing ability, and the crazy vibrations. The casing for the motherboard/esc came loose and then the board stopped working entirely while I was riding at full speed. ( I was thrown off of the board.) Another time one of the engines stopped working. And a different time, the back wheel came off while I was riding at full speed. Koowheel didn't reply to my email, and eventually when they did give me my refund, it was only 3/4 of what i spent on it. They are quickly ruining their reputation by ignoring their customers when their boards fall apart. (I got 3 boards and they all fell apart in various ways within 2 months before I gave up on Koowheel entirely.) Other customers that have had their boards for a while are dealing with batteries that stop working. It was fun for a while. I guess that I'm lucky that the boards are so poorly designed that they fall apart within the first couple of months, otherwise even a partial refund would not have been possible. I would recommend getting a meepo or one of the many meepo imitators instead. They may not be as fast, but at least they won't fall apart on you, and if they did, you can replace the parts as needed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Board *by A***R on November 25, 2017* So far it has been a dream to ride.
