This would be fine except our floors can be chilly in winter. These were a perfect solution. They were super cute and very quick and easy to get on and off. Plus, they were comfy enough that she left them on! Size-wise, they were perfect for a 1 year old, and stretchy enough to wear over socks if we wished (which is great in the winter). If you have a new one learning to walk and have wood floors, I highly recommend these.
