They play sports, skateboard, and bike, and are on a trampoline constantly, so I can't attest to how these would fit a very thin leg for youths or a leg for a youth looking to lose weight in martial arts. They all commented on the comfort, and they hit all their legs in nice spots, while also covering their feet well.
