The stripes are straight, where sewn to the skirt. The whole dress is sewn nicely.2) The 1# dress -- Navy with little flying animals. Very sweet, and the printing of the animals is beautifully detailed! This dress is shorter, so it'll likely be worn as a tunic, but that's fine.These dresses are 100% cotton, and feel every bit like cotton.In this Amazon order (Aug 2019), I ordered several cotton dresses for myself, and a bunch of cotton dresses for my little nieces. Many DIFFERENT brands. In the order, several of the dresses turned out to be NOT cotton (felt like 100% polyester), even though it says 95 or 100% cotton in the description on Amazon. And some of them even have a 100% cotton tag sewn in them, even though they're obviously a synthetic fabric! I did reviews of those dresses.All the dresses with these kinds of "mistakes" were made in China. Perhaps those companies are starting to falsely advertise "cotton", knowing that cotton is popular, and knowing that a certain number of people aren't going to bother to return them. and they'll still make a profit? It's disturbing, because it takes a lot of time to read about & choose clothes on Amazon.But THESE dresses (also made in China) are really cotton, and very nice.I washed both of these dresses separately in Hot water in order to remove some of the chemicals in non-organic cotton. I know I took a risk with hot water. (Just hot water won't take all the chemicals out -- I have a more detailed regimen to do a better job). I then dried them on the wash line -- NOT in the dryer. They did shrink a bit, but not much. And amazingly, the colors didn't run, in either of them. They don't need ironing, if you straighten them out when hanging them on the line. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Feels way more expensive! *by H***A on June 27, 2024* I purchased the rainbow with stripes dress for my daughter and I was so impressed with the quality. The material was thick, there was an extra detail on the inside of the neckline, and the stitched-on rainbow pieces were very well done and cute-- it looks like I spent way more on it than I did. Such a fantastic buy, and she wears it all of the time!I then went back and bought two more. The dress with two Dalmatians-- again, great quality and the stitching of the dogs makes it feel like a more expensive dress. However, I also bought the multicolored stripe dress with two pockets and it was a different story. Quality on this one was not the same. The material was thinner, the colors of the stripes were running into each other, those nice details weren't there, and the sizing was way off; the other two dresses seem to run true-to-size, but this third dress was much smaller (when comparing side-by-side, it was about 2 inches shorter). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can I give 6 stars? *by M***I on July 3, 2025* What a cute unicorn dress!! My 4 year old niece is going to love it!The weight and feel of the fabric, and the beautifully stiched unicorn are beyond what I expected! Seriously looks like it's hand stiched with a patchwork of prints. Not an iron on. Something I'd expect to see in a little boutique, for three times the price.Buy it. Or any of the adorable options! I think I'll order the turtle one too!Seriously.
