I used this tea in conjunction with other milk reducing tricks, so I can't say for sure, but it was largely painless overall, even despite the sudden stop (except maybe the first 48 hours which were uncomfortable, but actually I didn't have this tea yet then). I drank this a few times a day as a hot herbal tea- it is pretty typical of a peppermint herbal blend and I found the flavor unremarkable, but I drink a lot of herbal teas. Within about 2 weeks I was milk free, so I can only think this helped.
