The material is extremely soft, light but not see-through, and is a generous fit for my pear shape! The tucks along the bust are in the perfect place--not too high which I have often seen. The straps are adjustable. The black is a nice solid black color. I am planning on using this as a swim cover up or "out of the shower" cover as it's perfect to put on lotion and get ready before dressing for the day/evening out. I would definitely purchase again, especially at this price point! Great value for the money! Side note: I have not washed this yet, but I would not put in the dryer for more than a few minutes. I always hang dry my clothes to keep them from wrinkling and for longer life. EDIT: Just purchased two more of these! The pink flowered one and the blue tie dye--but, the blue tie dye is actually much prettier in person than it shows online! I washed the black one and it came out great.
