Mind your plastics like an archeologist! *by C***0 on Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2024* This looks really, really nice in the dash of my, "forever" truck: 1993 Z71. So, when you carefully take your dash apart, because you know you have to do that after reading all the forums about basically being an Egyptologist, and all the plastic mounts crumble to dust, prep & grind with a carbide burr, wipe with acetone, grab some masking tape, and form around the broken areas to replicate the missing mounts, and mix the JB Weld 8281 steel reinforced epoxy, and the Steel Stick 8267 at 50/50. Problem is, the 8281 is too thin to sit still, & the 8267 is too thick to form a full mechanical bond. Wait overnight, file, shape, blend, predrill, and be happy. Once all the prerequisites have been fulfilled, this pocket doo-dad looks great! Oh, and for God's sake, don't buy a full depth single DIN head, and that extended center dash replacement plastic. Pull the original tape deck , GUT IT use that as a mount for the single DIN cage for your new unit (epoxy), don't remove the structural supports, get yourself a textured ABS sheet here on Amazon, and DON'T make your installation look like YouTube crap! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect fit, factory look! *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2023* This cubby fit perfect in my 1994 GMC C1500(sierra).
