It is soft and squishy, similar to suede texture, but not as nice as that. The pocket are just big enough to hold my Windows Lumia 950 XL phone which is about 6 inches. There are 2 little zip pockets inside, which I like. There seems to be more space that I originally thought, of which I am glad! The color is nice. The red belt it comes with is nice, but I can tell will not last very long. Overall, I think it is very cute and stylish. I am a huge fan of fanny packs so I think I am going to keep it.
