Cheap crap.
The back light doesn't work unless your room is completely black. When you set the date, it automatically sets the day of the week that is supposed to correspond, but the weekday is incorrect. Cheap crap.

I really liked my old one but I can't find one that's ...
I bought this to replace my other alarm clock. I really liked my old one but I can't find one that's the same so I settled with this one. This alarm clock has all the functions I was looking for and more, which is nice. But it's cumbersome to set up alarm, turn it on or off or change the alarm time, so I am not even using it as alarm clock.

So my sister somehow managed to interpret the instructions for ...
So my sister somehow managed to interpret the instructions for this well enough to set it, but also somehow initiated an alarm that beeped "happy birthday" every day at noon. AM and PM were also reversed, which did not change when I reset the time again and tried to turn off the alarm (which I could not for the life of me figure out how to do). Then when daylight savings ended, I tried to reset the clock and found that the time set mode no longer affected the displayed time on the clock. So I took out the battery and put it back in at exactly noon. It no longer displays the correct date, but is otherwise perfectly functional for my purposes, although I'm afraid its functionality may continue to decay. Would not buy again.
