- Meet Legend, the KHP’s newest and youngest equine officer! He joined the team in 2021, and is partnered with Officer Rakow. Mounted Unit Commander Captain Rakes shares that Legend is “calm, level headed and has a kind disposition which makes him a great ambassador to the Kentucky Horse Park.”
- Legend is a Drum Horse, with his lineage being a mix of Clydesdale, Shire, and Gypsy Vanner. He gets his name from his medicine hat and shield markings, which according to Native American legend, offer protection – perfect for an equine officer!
- PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS: Package contains (1) Breyer Traditional Series Horse - Legend. Traditional Series 1:9 Scale. Measures approximately 11.25" L x 9" H. Recommended for ages 8 years and older.
- HAND CRAFTED DETAIL: The world's 'most asked for' horses since 1950. Each individual Breyer model is prepped and finished by hand and then turned over to the painting department for hand painting and detailing.
