I go to use it for first time, I plug it in pour in the water to line and turn on. It starts up fine water starts to boil then it gets quiet and all I hear is timer. No more boiling water no steam no heat. I go to trouble shoot option and they are telling me how to trouble shoot a hooded hair dryer?!!? This is a hair steamer. Sooo uh idk, idk how I feel about this. It's really not that difficult to set up and use, so I know I did nothing wrong. You literally just plug in fill water and turn on so idk what's going on. Also I don't like how you can't lift the hood part up to get in your chair and lift back down. You literally have to bend and maneuver your head in even when you adjust the height pole and even that doesn't extend to much to give you enough room to slide under and if you do raise the height pole how will you lower it once you sit down? I gave it 2 stars because at least it looks good lolUPDATE: I'm leaving my first review up so you can see how I went from 2 stars to 5. So I figured out by mistake that the hood part does lift and therefore making it easier to get under it plus the water that was collecting in the rim of the hood finally started draining once I was able to lift hood back some. So now that the hood lifts up there isn't so much condensation dripping on me. But still be very cautious as water is still super hot, so please do not let kids or pets around when using item..this steamer is awesome and does what it needs to do. The water in the container stayed boiling during use. So yes I would definitely recommend this product. ### ⭐ Horrible purchase *by D***R on February 26, 2025* I bought this steamer for my salon. I have used steam to process my hair color for 25 years. The steamer was in need of replacement so this was my replacement. I have nothing good to say about this steamer. The cord was too short, the water reservoir was too small, and the steam got way too hot with no way to adjust the steam/hear! It was hazardous to use on anyone's head! Unfortunately, I missed the return window and I am stuck with it.
