I did everything step by step including cleaning the wall, adding the outer layer and cutting to fit. I spent a couple hours applying them perfectly with out air bubbles. It was not easy to apply, tedious. It looked great the first day but then the next day started to peel off. To be fair my wall is slightly textured and I knew the risks.
