It also has a longer telescoping pole for taller plants and it comes with a choice of a screw on base so it can stand on its own or a stake to push directly into the soil of the plant pot. The cord is plenty long and so far the timer works well. The adapter does get slightly warm but not hot. My other plant light adapters do the same.
