**Q: I need a lid 300x300 so can I just use the steel part as a replacement? Is the steel bit 300 square?**
A: no. it is about 320x320mmtry ug502 for a plastic pedestrian 300x300 coverthe size given for manhole covers is the hole size it is intended to fit.when replacing a manhole cover it is usually best to replace cover and frame at the same time so you get a good fit due to tolerances between manufacturersregardsray @ eezy

**Q: Can cars drive over these?**
A: Yes we have been driving over it for about a year.
Quite ‘wangy ‘ though.

**Q: Can it replace ug502 poly pipe one. That one keeps cracking under my car wheel as it’s in driveway**
A: Well this is a sturdy galvanised cover. I would not hesitate to install one in  my driveway, and drive over it once installed. It would be stronger than a plastic one of the same size in my opinion. Don't think I would 'park ' on it though.

**Q: Can I use this on a polypipe branded chamber? The “pedestrian “ one on my driveway keeps cracking(lid)so I need to replace lid with something stronger**
A: The metal part will not fit a polypipe Frame you will need to replace all of the part. I had the same issue.
