Good quality seams/finishing. Blocks out at least 75 % of street lights. Midweight fabric with blockout on the reverse, so needs must only iron the front of it and not the backing !. Thermal rating, a separate curtain liner could be added and that would significantly increase the thermal efficiency. Really nice pattern of lines in 2 shades of mid silvery grey on the one I bought. Would match most colour schemes. I haven`t yet washed the curtain, so I cannot comment on how the fabric or the backing are after washing. The washing advice label states 40 deg wash. There is not any chemical smell from the blockout backing on this manufacturers curtain. That is a big advantage over other blockout curtains bought elsewhere that have a lingering chemical smell !
