The quality is fantastic, being stainless steel with attractive wood grain handles. They are smooth from one end to the other, and appear to be very solidly put-together. They look super nice, as well. The main thing I like, though, is how well they perform. They work perfectly for salads, and many other foods, as well. The "tines" are great for stabbing items like lettuce, while the spoon-like area will hold cherry tomatoes or things like that so they don't roll off. I just used one of these sporks while eating a salad and some pilaf, and it worked very well for not only the salad, but it also helped to hold the rice and other items from the pilaf on the utensil, making it much easier to eat the pilaf than it would have been with a regular fork. I doubt I'm really expressing how much I love these things - I would gladly trade in all of my forks for a bunch of these sporks. They are just so much easier to use and are very effective at keeping food from falling off. I think the price is good for the high quality. These are going to get a lot of use.
