Review: Great little Flux Core welder - As a DIY’er( first time welding ) this thing works great. I tried it on both 120 and 240, 240 seems to lay down beads nicer. My first time welding 120 wall mild steal at 80amps did just fine. I’m practicing to weld up a set of rock sliders for my truck. I was using the .030 wire it came with. I’ll be trying 1/4” steal plate with .035 wire soon. This is a great buy for the space and affordability. If you don’t want to buy an actual Mig machine this one is great.

Although it's a bit slower than most welders, this is actually solid. Got this when it was on special and absolutely no regrets. I'm a hobbyist welder, have multiple welders across the board and I have to say, this is better than most 300+ dollar welders! For the compact size it sure does a decent job. Bang for buck, I have no complaints. Pros: Solid stream puddles nicely, compact, portable, regular socket, versatile, price Cons: Fastest setting is still slow, burns a bit colder than reported
