It charges quickly and holds a charge for a very long time. The fact that it has the capability of powering both AC and DC units is a real plus along with the fact that there are separate buttons to access the AC and DC power. Very easy to use. I actually got this unit for FREE! My local power company had this on a list of eligible refund units. I completed the refund application on-line and received a check for the full amount that I paid. So check with your local power company and see if they are offering a rebate for this unit.
