good to start with on carpet, but eventually cracks appear and spread quite quickly

On arrival the mat is rolled up and really difficult to unroll.  It is ridiculously stiff. I had to stand on one end of it and slowly unroll it a bit at a time.I got so annoyed with it it almost went in the bin.  Once unrolled it just will not stay flat on the carpet at all. I'm hoping with time it will sort itself out but for now it is a disappointment.
