I recommend switching out the typical thin wired transformers that come with your indoor/outdoor antenna with this one. The copper is the same gauge as RG 6 coax, better in corrosive conditions. I wish I can say that I've been able to compare and contrast with these transformers in an exact antenna location, i.e. swapping out old with this new item, but I haven't. What I can say is that with a "clear" direct line of site, approximately 40-50 miles from the Antenna Stations, I get 70 channels, which is damn near max of available over the air channels in our area. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Exterior durable, inside fragile *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2022* I needed a more weather worthy adapter for my outdoor antenna. While this appears to work well, I destroyed the first and second one by not delicately handling them as the 'guts' are pretty fragile. First twisted off/loose the coax connector while tightening thus breaking the interior wires. Second pulled one of the 2 wire leads out of the housing without much force, though it was still usable, I was able to push the insulation back into the housing.
