The outer sheath/coat is not thick and bulky yet it is strong. I like it. I did not measure it with a caliper, but the AWG size seems correct. The cable is quite flexible. I found the deal, the cost per foot to be better than any other similar cables I had bought. Before I purchased it, I read that it was difficult to strip the red and black insulation from the copper strands but now that I have it, I find no such issue. It strips normal.
