After only a little over a Year, THIS PRINTER STOPPED WORKING! RIP OFFS!
So far so good! The only thing I wish I could adjust the darkness of the color! Otherwise this is MUCH BETTER THAN THE EPSON ECO PRINTER! Whatever you do, DO NOT use this or any other "eco" printer online! They count the number of prints and with Epsom Eco Printer, when it reached a certain amount of printed pages, it Shut it down, said it needed service and wouldn't print anymore. Eventhough there was no problems with that printer! It would have cost me as much to buy a new one to get it serviced! So, I BOUGHT THIS ONE! I didn't Put it online, I manually plug the printer into my computer to print things out, but at least they won't be able to keep track of howmany pages I print and shit this one down!! Hope I don't have any of the same trouble with this CANNON AS I DID WITH THE EPSON !!WELL! This printer DID THE SAME THING! After I cleaned the Heads ( using their cleaning software!), the Printer came up with some error code! Prior to preforming the regular cleaning of the printer with its program, It was Printing fine! Then afterwards, There was a flashing light on the printer! It said in the trouble shooting section it needed service! I just bought it a little over a year ago! And when I called to try and fine a place that Services this printer, first, the nearest one is over 150 miles one way, and Just to have them check it out, COSTS MORE THAN I PAID FOR THE PRINTER !! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRINTER ANDTHIS BRAND! What a disappointment!

All Canon Printers have same exact problem:
This is a great printer. The print scaling issue is not unique to this brand make or model. Print scaling issue seems to more likely be also the fault of the OS...but that said I think that if canon wanted to give the user the power & control to be able to set the scaling option to stay on the last setting as well as the option to choose from / adjust settings, &, finally, the "restore to default" option. Id also suggest a 4th: autoscale, but since they have yet to give us even minimal control at all over the default scale setting Id be more than satisfied with the 1st 3 options, as autoscale seems like it might take a while longer to get worked out.
