Endurance Peak 3 Waterproof True Wireless in Ear Sport Headphones with gSport Hardshell Case (White)

I bought these for my husband’s birthday to replace a two-year-old pair of Powerbeats Pro earbuds that had shorted out in one bud. (He doesn’t like AirPods because they fall out of his ears. The guy is brawny, but his earlobes are petite.) I did extensive research to find an alternative to Powerbeats since they have a history of shorting out within a year or two. The JBL brand on Amazon had decent reviews, so I decided to go for it. I could tell my husband was a little hesitant when he opened them since he’s a brand-name guy. He knew JBL wasn’t a generic brand, but I think he doubted that they could be as good as a higher-priced product. Well, the joke’s on Dr. Dre because my husband LOVES his JBL earbuds. The sound is crisper, the battery lasts longer, and they just fit better overall. We haven’t hit that “two-year tech tragedy” mark, so I will update on longevity when times passed. But out of the gate, these aren’t just an alternative earbud, they are a superior product. JBL = Just Buy it, Ladies!

Best purchase ever. I use these for water aerobics so can’t comment on how they survive being submersed. But they have some basic customization, the sound quality is good, and they’re very comfortable.

Great sound long battery life

Pros: o - The battery life lasts a long time, especially the charging base o - The way it automatically shuts off when taken off the ear is a nice feature Cons: o - Difficult to put on with one hand; basically, need two hands to put on each earphone o - The touch-sensitive controls are a detriment. While putting the earphone on, you often accidentally brush the touch-sensitive controls multiple times, causing your audio player to start-stop-start-stop in your ear. o - In dim light, it is difficult to discern which is the front or back of the charging base. It is symmetrical, the embossed JBL is black on black, and there are no raised areas to tell by feel which side opens and which side the hinge is on. Half the time you try to open it from the wrong side before cursing and turning it around. o - There is no raised lip on the lid of the charging base, making the lid very difficult to open if you are wearing gloves or your hands are slippery or you are trying to open it with one hand.

The left ear bud won’t charge and tried all of the methods to clean and no luck! Come to find out that this is a common problem and JBL should have known about it!! I’ve had JBL ear buds for a long time and I’m done with them.
