My sink is a modern Belfast sink, supplied two years ago, which has an internal overflow, so perhaps if you have one of these, then this is the product for you. But if you have a more original and older sink, then I think these do have additional external overflow pipes, so this is the wrong product for you. Given some rough measurements of my sink and the dimensions shown, this was a perfect replacement for me and my sink. With a little Plummers Mate sealant then it was fitted quickly and perfectly. Used it for a Belfast sink after one I’d had for 15 years broke. Fitted fine with no leaks to the sink (local plumbers merchants said Belfast wastes could be tricky). My only concern is that the long hollow metal screw is secured into the threaded plastic. I might have expected a captured metal nut.
