I’ve never done extensions before so this review is going to be pretty extensive but so worth it!!How many packs I used and of what (each pack came with 6 extra tapes and cute lashes!):- 2 of the 20 pc 20 inch packs in no2- 2 of the 20 pc 18 inch packs in no2- 1.5 of the 20 pc 18 inch packs in no2 balayage* the packs sometimes came with extra pieces so that was really nice! I went from a pixie to a full head so if your hair is longer or thinner, you won’t need as many. I love a full look (since my hair is naturally thick, it’s the only way to make it look natural)* the hair is also SO soft and luxurious. And they have a slight wave when wet. They hold curls/waves really well even if it’s just from a braid. I put hair oil on the mids and ends ever night and braid or twist them, securing with a scrunchie & wearing a bonnet in order to protect both my hair and the extensions.Instillation/Take out:-At first, I only bought balayage packs (6 of them) and did that around my whole head (seen in picture where my bangs are out) and it was super easy! I definitely recommend projecting your phone screen onto a laptop or TV if you can so you can see the back if you’re doing it yourself!-It came out really well the first time but because of the color, the back didn’t blend as nicely since the blonde made it look choppy. Because of this, I had to remove them in like a week because I didn’t want to go out in public with the back all wonky looking.-Take out was a pain in the butt. I only used rubbing alcohol and it left a lot of residue in my hair and I ended up pulling out a lot of hair. But again my hair is super thick so I didn’t mind it. I definitely recommend getting a tape in removing serum or something other than alcohol to get all the tape out.- I reused some of the balayage tapes the second time around (the picture in all black) but because I didn’t used a good serum to remove the tapes, I had to pull the old tapes off by hand which was definitely a huge pain and added about an hour to my re-instillation process.The roots:Lastly, they’re not completely “seamless”. The definitely have a shine to them but as long as you have *enough* hair covering it consistently, you won’t be able to see them at all! My issue is that I didn’t realize that the hair on the top of the back of my head lays awkwardly so I put a tape under where I thought my hair would be but it ended up being completely exposed 🥲 but it’s the back of my head and not my problem!Anyway overall I definitely love them! And I’ll be buying more in the future for sure. I have already recommended them to other people too. Great quality, they are soft and shiny but not too thin. The color, dark brown, is even all throughout. The length is also the same for each piece. I loved that they could be reused. I used this brands extension tape and it worked great. I was able to style with heat protectants without badly damaging the hair. These also can be cut, colored and styled like your own hair. I have thick hair and 2 packs were enough to cover my own head. I was able to brick lay them myself and they came out pretty good! Thanks to this brand I was able to get the hair I wanted at a price I could afford. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Do NOT buy these. *by R***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2024* The pictures show the extensions after being detangled and brushing. Ends are frayed, and if not combed through, matted together. My natural hair is still shiny and silky. I was so excited to receive these extensions after purchasing quality extensions from Ulta’s salon for so many years ($$$). We installed them before a family wedding mid-May, and I thought they felt great, although I noticed that I needed to cut off the bottom 2 inches because the ends were so thin. That’s fine. I had used (1) 20” and (2) 22” boxes for a layered look with two colors. I later noticed after the first wash, that the hair was tangling and clumping together around my nape, so it looked bushy but shiny, so I made sure to keep a wide toothed comb on hand and combed through every hour, as necessary. After two weeks of wear, 3x washed, professional shampoo/conditioner, heat protectant, and deep conditioning treatments with each wash, my hair was fraying, dry like hay, and the color was lightening. As a person who babies their hair and uses no heat most days and low heat to style, this shouldn’t be happening. It’s a month later and I don’t even want to leave my house with them in. I tried putting healthy oils in the ends but that didn’t help. My extensions in the past could last me at least a year, if not more. I wasn’t even ready to reinstall these and they’re already disgusting to look at and feel, not to mention stressful. There’s nothing I could do to save these extensions. Because I’ve been putting my hair in a bun to hide the ends, the extensions actually started to rip my hair out in two different places. It’s one thing for extensions to slide due to conditioning too close to the wefts, but my hair was ripped from my head. I then had to remove the two sandwiches before the other half ripped off as well. I DO NOT recommend these to anyone. Maybe they used to be great or maybe I got a bad batch, which is unlikely with 3 different boxes reacting the same. Never again.
