Fish Killer
I don't even know why I bother to buy any other lures (maybe because I have an addiction to buying fishing stuff?!) because this one performs better than all of them. I've used it to catch golden dorado, jack crevalle, big eye jacks, barracuda, rooster fish, snapper, sierra, skip jack tuna, needle fish, dorado, sail fish, and of course my favorite, the yellow fin tuna. Also probably some other fishies that I can't remember (I just remembered pike, here in Alaska). I use it on charters, inshore and offshore, and also walking the beaches and surf casting, mostly in Mexico, but also a fair amount in central america and south america. The 88 is my favorite size because it seems to have the best action and is heavy enough to bomb casts with a surf rod (30 lb braid) but small enough to entice smaller or less aggressive fish. But it also catches big fish. I've also spent a lot of time throwing the 118 and, although it also catches fish, it tends to get up on the top and skip on a fast retrieve. That's not always a bad thing, but I'm not sure that's what it's designed for. Anyway, I also like the chrome color but don't have enough data to comment on the other patterns. I'm not a fan of the double hook and always replace mine with 3x or 4x trebles. Also note that the paint will chip off quickly in surf casting scenarios (sand blaster effect) but that's true of all lures. At $25/each I should probably learn how to re-finish them. Tight lines.

Great lure
I casted this waxwing about 10 times in Baja and caught two fish. Once, in shore for a little grouper. The other fish was a skipjack when offshore. Not exactly my targeted species but hey, it worked.

Small but terrible
I don't know how manny striped bass and large mouth bass i caught with this lure..Using a high speed reel and a 50 llbs straight braid connected a 50 lbs swivel with a tactical clip. This lure is awesome!!!!!

it casts nice and has a good action
it's a little expensive for what it is.. and the hook rusted off before the end of the season, but I'll replace it and keep using it... it casts nice and has a good action... caught a few schoolie bass on it.

Best upper water lure on the market
Maybe I should say, 'Best upper water saltwater lure on the market'. It's flies like a bullet and couldn't be simpler to fish. Perfect for inexperienced to the most experienced fisher person.

It's beautiful & it's exactly what we wanted. Wasn't a savings like I usually get on Amazon. Same price as sporting goods store.
