My recommendation is to trust that this product works as my veterinarian himself recommended this specific product. This replaces or encourages replacement of red blood cells which is important as we raise goats and goats are easily becoming anemic as the years go by because of the intensity of the worm situation and their resistance to standard medications. This in conjunction with dewormers has made all the difference in the world to prevent anemia or to treat anemia. Of course, this is one of those products that the goats can't stand because it tastes nasty and it even stinks but let me tell you, like castor oil when we were kids, this actually works because I've seen a difference from day to day which is far more than I expected.
