Great budget home workout kit, but not super heavy-duty This Pilates bar kit is a solid option for at-home workouts. I felt like this kit gave a lot of versatility and options but it's not easy to change or adjust when doing different exercises. In my opinion, exercise is already work and adding this tedious barrier is a no for me. I really wanted to like it. It did appear to be well made.

Use the leg/ankle straps that came with the packaging, I promise you’ll change your mind. At first I was using the handles (the ones that look like you obviously grab them with your hands or have that strap above it where you fit your foot in there) and when I would try to do the squats, they would immediately lose tension as I “squatted down/bent my knees” and it was really annoying. I switched to the ankle straps and I immediately felt the difference when I did certain exercises and moved to the higher resistance band weight level (20/30/50.) The only thing that’s annoying but still SOMEWHAT work-around-able is being short and trying to do bicep curls or an exercise of a similar motion that involve the bar placement being at or near the waist and PULLING it upward, because the bands will lose tension, even with the straps on the bar pulled to the lowest “height” settinf
