I was fortunate that I had saved the instructions from the original transmitter, as the receiver did not come with instructions on how to pair. Simply press the volume up button on the receiver until the red light blinks, then push the button on the transmitter. You will hear a tone from the receiver that tells you the pairing is complete. Another reviewer left a complaint that it was not waterproof, which is baffling because nowhere in the description does it claim to be waterproof. The TRANSMITTER is waterproof, however the receiver is not (since the receivers are intended to be used indoors).
