I'll have to use thread inserts or drill out the holes and re-tap them.However I can evaluate the quality and report the dimensions for other buyers.The outer spanner nut size is 22mm flat-to-flat. The 3/8" thread is about 15mm deep.The body is about 28mm in diameter with a 2.6mm wall thickness. Total length is around 100mm with the knurled body accounting for 90mm of that.So the advertised dimensions look to be correct.The fact that these are mostly hollow with relatively thin walls results in a surprisingly low weight. I expected them to feel 2-3x heavier when I picked them up. There's no flex in them; I'd say if they had no material defects, the construction would be solid enough.The machining is mostly decent; but one of the pegs has an obvious defect in the initial casting, which was then machined over. This may weaken the material, which is not what you want when exposing it to regular shocks.The anodised black finish is already coming away in places without any use, so is unlikely to last long in use. Not a huge issue with aluminium, other than aesthetics.At less than £4 a piece these issues can be overlooked if you're buying for light use or purely to accessorize; but I wouldn't rely on them for heavy 'stunt' use, if I were capable of such a thing. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not very big *by W***H on 9 May 2024* While these pegs are sturdy enough they are not very big. It's hard to imagine that my son's size 12 feet will find these pegs useful. Made of metal they are designed to fit a 3/8 rear axle. Have a patterned grip to aid contact and reduce chances of slipping.
