He is 65 lbs and I ordered the XL.This harness is lightweight and high quality. It fits him well and is easy to put on. I have only had it for a short time but it looks very well made and helps him stand up much easier, and provide a little needed support for walking around.Thank you for providing an affordable quality product to make his life easier! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helpful tool for our old pup *by B***P on Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2019* Edit - Our one old dog is comfortable wearing this all day, so we got another for the dog going to surgery. At the price, it can't be beat.This has worked well for an older dog of our with some significant mobility problems. He's about 60 pounds and has trouble getting up and sometimes needs help with walking outside on uneven surfaces. This is super easy to put on and fits him well. He doesn't mind it at all and we just gently help him up with it or help him over a curb by lessening the amount of weight his old legs need to support. It also makes it easier getting him and out of the car for small adventures or to the vet. We are also planning on using it when our 85 pound lab mix goes in for front leg surgery and needs to recover. She took to it easy and we're using with her for a short period to get her comfortable before she has surgery.A couple of recommendations:-Just measure the girth right around the biggest part of your dog's chest. The sizing seems accurate to us - XL works for both of our dogs and for maybe a larger one.-For any product to help with physical limitations, get the dog used to it before you need it in a critical situation. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than all the more expensive support harnesses! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2020* When my senior dog went lame in his back leg I quickly went on Amazon to purchase several harnesses, support slings and leg braces to see what would help him out. The leg braces fell apart and didn’t support him (40$), the first harness got lost in transit ($45), second harness was late coming and looked to big (48$), the sling only worked if dog was walking on flat ground (25$). I kept seeing this support harness but I thought how can this be good for only $17.87? I figured it was going to be a cheap thing but I desperately ordered it anyways.So glad I did. It is soft and comfortable for the dog, quick and easy to get on him and totally supports him so I can help him up and down the stairs. My dog is an old chubby Beagle/Bassett (65#) that is odd shaped so I measured him carefully and followed the chart and ordered the XL.I can’t tell you how pleased I am and how wonderful this product is, how it has helped my dog out and it was so reasonable.
