KONG - Dental with Rope - Durable Rubber, Teeth and Gum Cleaning Dog Toy - for Small Dogs

The toy part is a favorite to all of our dogs, The red part is durable and withstands hard chewing better than some. The rope however does not last long and will need to be removed to not make a mess or pose a hazard. This is the second one we have bought and is recommended.

Our dog has had hers for four years and she loved it, but sadly we had to replace it as another another finally chewed through it and it broke. Worth every penny though.

With barely any playing, this toy is now useless. I usually love Kong toys, but this one was not it. It wasn't even aggressive chewing or playing. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

My puppy loves this toy. The rope is quite long, and he loves to chew it. I want to add that the rope I received was not the blue rope pictured but rather a red rope with white stripes in it that is pictured on another Kong toy,The Kong Small Ball with Rope toy., where it is described as a tug and floss rope that cleans teeth. I was okay with that. My puppy loved it from the first moment and he has other Kong toys. I have an 8 month old Havanese and have the small one. He loves rope toys and has a very small knotted rope toy that is still okay after months and another rope that lasted a week...both not Kong and he loves this as much or more now. The red rubber part has the slits in it that are perfect to put kibble in. Since he is not a good eater (not unusual with this breed), he likes the game of trying to chew the kibble out and eats more that way which I love. The hard part is putting the dry kibble in and finding the correct size ones that won't fall out or be too large to fit in.... It is a bit time consuming. I know the rubber will outlive the rope. It seems quite well made...and smells of rubber like all of them. On the Kong website, they say the rope is replaceable, and someone said Kong sells the replaceable rope, but I haven't seen it anywhere. I don't need it so far, since my puppy hasn't chewed it through in a month. He carries it around and wants to play tug with it. I would try to reach them at Kong when the rope is chewed through...hopefully not too soon.

We bought this (small kong with rope) for our 3 1/2 mo. old Welsh Corgi puppy who is having a rough time teething. It's great fun for him! He swings the rope around, flying around the room, and when he's tired he chews on the kong portion. So far, it's holding up well. The rope is not shredding, but he's also young with small teeth. My 2-year-old Corgi has taken a liking to it - once more flying through the house pretending to be an acrobat...or maybe she's not pretending...and having a great time. It's holding up to her as well - she's about 22 lbs, but I doubt it would hold up for a larger dog. I'm about to try the medium - on it's way from amazon - for a considerably larger Corgi, so we'll see. But, for puppies, it's a great toy and adds some variety to the other toys. Recommended!

The toy was fun for a little while but my dog easy undid the knot, and frayed and ruined the rope. Didn’t last long after that.

This is my third purchases of this product over the years - amazing product! If I am going to be gone for a while, I paste peanut butter into the crevices. Both dogs watch me and they know the treat is ahead! Great product! Thank you Kong and Amazon!

I bought this in the medium size for my two toy size dogs a few weeks ago. My new pomeranian puppy loves carrying it around even though it weighs more than him and he loves just chewing on it. It hasn't frayed and I haven't seen any strings around the apartment. I keep watching just incase (due to the other reviewers). They play tug with it once in awhile- the longer length was a better choice and it's easier for us to play tug with them without having to bend over too much. I can see why some of these dogs have destroyed these. The weaving is much more loose than some other tug toys and I had to really tighten the knots so they couldn't get them out as easily. I recommend if your dog isn't a destroyer!

This is a great toy for dogs - for fetch, tug, and even putting a bit of plain yogurt or peanut butter on for entertainment when our puppy has his quiet time. It’s very durable and high quality.

Ou dog loves to play with this toy and it is one of the only toys he will play with on his own. It is great for chewing and for playing both fetch and pull with him. it is durable and the perfect size for our small dog. He loves it

Für unsere HoviDame DER Strick!!!! Nachdem der Erste nach guten 3 Jahren nun langsam den Zerrspielen nicht mehr standhalten konnte, mussten wir genau diesen wieder kaufen, da andere Stricke keinen Anklang fanden bzw. nur geduldet waren. Natürlich muss sehr wahrscheinlich der Strick selber mal ausgetauscht werden, aber das Kaustück ist echt robust.....und bei 3 Jahren täglichen Spielens würde ich von einer langen Lebensdauer des Spielzeugs reden.

La corde n'a pas durée 2 heures. Mais gardé seulement le jouet en caoutchouc et toujours là. Ma chienne l'adore.
