it works...
it works just fine. there were not many mechanical locks like this that did not require batteries. they include 2 different latches to cover the most common door hole size placements. of course i didn't look closely at the specs and until i realized i had the hole in the door 5 inches from the edge which didn't fit either latch. this less common 5 inch placement of the door hole had had me back on amazon finding the 5 inch latch which i did. don't do what i did. measure first. the latch and lock work fine though they are made from cheap materials. for example i put a little masking tape on the front of the mechanical buttons to hold it on while i was screwing it in and the numbers for the buttons came off with the masking tape. rote down your combination as a pattern instead of as numbers. this was the cheapest of these types of locks so you get what you pay for...

Awesome and great quality
Very easy to install and operate. The best mechanical door lock around.

Good quality lock.
Nice quality lock, but too big and bulky for door. Also did not like having to drill additional holes with template.
