Effective but limited
Been trying a few different products on my old stretch marks recently with varying results. My experiences with this gel and others by this brand are that they do have a noticable effect. They don't eliminate any trace of the scar, something that is unfortunately impossible, but they do help to reduce the appearance of it to a level that you feel more confident in yourself. My scars were stretch marks that developed when I was a teenager, so they're about 14 years old. Some of the worst ones were very large and dark. Using this for a month made them lighter in appearance so they blended in more with the rest of my skin tone, while they also made the texture of them smoother so they didn't feel so deep anymore. I'm very pleased with the results overall. My big problem with these products though is that you get no where near enough. For stretch marks like mine you'd need to apply it for 3-6 months to really see a big effect. The tube supplied though is no where near enough to last this long if you have extensive scarring like I do. Quite disappointing considering the price of it.If you're prepared to make an investment though to solve your problem then I'd recommend this stuff. I've tried a bunch of different products to try and reverse the damage done to my skin and this stuff is the only thing I feel has a genuine effect.

My skin feels very soft and supple!
PRESENTATION: this Skiennix Stretch Marks Therapy Scar Gel came in a hygienically sealed cardboard box. Once unsealed and opened, inside the cardboard box was a small tube of gel and a little instruction manual.USAGE & FUNCTIONALITY: when I removed the lid on the tube of gel, the gel itself was further hygienically sealed with a small foil type sticker, which I had to peel off to use the gel. The gel itself looks sort of ‘opaque’ and a slightly ’off white’ in colour, it is semi-solid, so not runny. It doesn’t have any sort of smell. When applied, it isn’t greasy, but smooth to the touch, and although it is absorbed very readily into the skin, it doesn’t do so immediately, you have to ‘massage’ it gently into your skin, which is not an inconvenience, and is not unpleasant to do, in fact, because it feels so soft, it is a rather cathartic exercise! A small amount of gel goes a long way, so you don’t need to use much for each application.SUMMARY: I have not been using this Skiennix Stretch Marks Therapy Scar Gel for long, so only time will tell just how ‘effective’ it is at permanently reducing my scars, but my skin feels very soft and supple, not dry and rough, like it did before I began to using the gel, so it has definitely affected my skin in a positive way!

Some effect maybe
It seems to reduce the appearance of stretch marks slightly, which is more than can be said for other creams. It is easy to apply and has a nice texture due to the silicone, and it does not burn. Overall quite expensive but it does help slightly.

very effective
This cream has truly helped prevent and treat stretch marks, especially during my pregnancy. I like that it's safe to use while expecting, providing much-needed relief and hydration to my skin. It's super moisturising, which is exactly what my growing belly needs. It keeps my skin feeling soft and supple, which I think helps prevent those unwanted stretch marks. The cream goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly, which is important for busy mornings. No greasy residue to worry about.

Soft skin but that's all.
I've been testing this out for the past few weeks on the stretch marks on my stomach, you only get 50ml and have to use it twice a day to see 'results' so I have only been using a small amount. My skin does feel nice and soft but I would say that's as far as it goes, maybe the time period is not long enough to see results but it's a pricey product and I've used cheaper ones with better results.

Watch this space...
Unlike (some) other reviewers, I don't simply copy & paste information from the advert. (I'm sure you really don't need (or want) to read all the description yet again!) I want to try and give you my own personal views of it (good or bad) so you can decide for yourself whether to buy the item or not. (The fact that I've received this product free of charge through Amazon Vine has no influence at all. I always "tell it as it is!")My wife ordered this cream as she still has stretch marks from having two children that she would like to get rid of. (Err... Get rid of the stretch marks, that is... not get rid of the kids!) LOLAnyway, it's way too early to tell if this cream really can get rid of stretch marks (or surgical scars). I think my wife will still be reasonably happy, even if it doesn't remove all of her stretch marks, but simply makes them look far less obvious. Only time will tell with that, and I hope to update this review some time at a later date. So, at the current price of £25.99p (with free delivery) I believe this product, (as nice as it seems), is certainly not the cheapest available and therefore I can't say it's very good value for the money at this moment in time. If it doesn't work, then it's definitely not good value for the money. However, if we find it does work, then I will be happy to recommend it, even at this high price. If it really does remove stretch marks (or the vast majority of them) then I guess it's still a price worth paying.Note:I have not uploaded any photos as there are loads already on here, and mine would not be adding anything new!
