Any rain boot that I have tried that fits my size 7 foot does not fit my size L calves. I've ended up slicing up the sides to get my boots to fit which sort of defeats the purpose of a waterproof boot. I've looked into boots advertised as "for large calves" but the price was also large and I have a strict budget. Then, finally, I saw these. And one of the reviewers, (bless her) addressed this same issue and said the boots really fit. She was right! The purple boots I ordered in a size 7 fit perfectly, even with socks on, and I can easily slide my feet right in and also tuck in the hem of my pants. I have worn them everyday since I got them for my outdoor work and they are very comfortable; they don't rub anywhere. So far they have proven sturdy and waterproof. And my granddaughter thinks I am very stylish for wearing purple boots!
