Two Brooks Farm Original Mississippi Middlins White Rice Grits

I grew up in Mississippi and wanted to support a business from my home state. The texture of this rice is very nice. I rinsed it several times until the water ran clear (as I do with all rice) and cooked in a rice cooker with a drizzle of oil. It's a little sticky but separates nicely when fluffed. The flavor is very mild compared to other basmati rice I've had, but we liked it. It smells very nutty when cooking, but it's not quite a flavorful as the smell. Still, it's a good product, and we've purchase again.

These are excellent. Discovered them at a great restaurant in St Augustine, FL. Great side or as a sub for rice/grits in many low-country, creole or Cajun recipes. Cooks much faster than rice - great for quick dinners!

Soaked very little before rice cooker. Best rice I have had in a while.

THIS WAS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!Nothing like grits. More like mussy rice. AWFUL!!! I ended up throwing it out. I see why the seller won't accept returns. They want to force you to keep this MESS! I only tried it because my usual rice grits (which was wonderful!) from Arrowhead Mills was discontinued.
