This is a great kit with a good size selection of barb sizes, but the worm drive hose clamps are worthless - I couldn't get a single one to tighten enough to stop leaks, at even moderate pressures. I would have preferred more barb fittings and had bought clamps in another kit, but the barbs make it a solid 4 star purchase.

This 136Pcs Brass Hose Barb Fittings Assortment Kit is a welcome assortment of fittings to add to my collection. They seem to be slightly less substantial than those you would find at a plumbing supply, but I think they're adequate. I've found that acquiring "kits" has been an economical alternative to buying individual parts as needs arise, especially at my rural home. Such kits have saved me an innumerable number of trips to the local hardware store which is 7 miles away.Since this kit was offered on Amazon Vine free of charge in exchange for this review, I didn't hesitate to order it. However, if I had been shopping around, I would have looked for "lead-free" fittings so I wouldn't have to keep them separate from my regular plumbing fittings. To the seller's credit, there is a disclaimer that these are " not suitable for potable water".All-in-all, I think this is a fair value. While 70 pieces of this 136 piece kit are simple hose clams, they do seem to be usable quality stainless steel clamps. (some cheap hose clamps I've found elsewhere are simply worthless).I'm comfortable recommending this kit, especially if you think you'll never need the fittings for potable water.

All these Barb Fittings are well made, and there's a good variety of them. The case is pretty solid and keeps everything separated. It makes storage a breeze.
