The sole is too hard in the cold. I do wish the shaft was was higher as my pants get caught at the top. The life of these boots, at least mine, was years not months as you are hoping the last until Feb of 2020. My only problem I discovered was I could not get them re-soled. It will take some time to break in, but my other pair has lasted three years. You will put them on and think I know these are entirely too small but you can’t get these broken in. You get good traction on a slip resistant boot, and the leather is nice and thick where it matters and they’re stylish.
