The waterproof fabric is very nice and should hold up for years. The umbrella looks nice at night when the lights are lit. I bought this particular umbrella because it tilts, perfect for my back yard as the sun moves during the day. I also wanted a 10 ft umbrella instead of 9 ft. That extra foot makes a difference.
