I live in an apartment complex and have 3 hound dogs (not a great combo). I noticed that when I would leave the house (but still just outside the door), my biggest would "test" it by barking once or twice, then immediately quite down. They're also just nylon, without a cotton padding, for comfort on the exterior.Making it probably hot in the summer months to carry!
