I invested in a half dozen strings of really nice LED multi-colored C9 lights a couple of years ago and I love them but this year when I started putting them up I realized that most of the blue bulbs were dead or dying and some of the strings wouldn’t light up at all as a result of too many dead bulbs. Luckily these are an affordable, easy way to fix them. These bulbs have a clear lens whereas the old ones that came with the strings were blue but other than that these are the same; they fit the same and the glow the same beautiful blue color except perhaps a little bit brighter and with more even light dispersion. I definitely have to be careful about getting these mixed up with other bulbs though because you can not tell what color they are when they are off, they just look clear.Fixing my light strings with these was very simple, any one could do it. Don’t replace your light strings if you don’t have to, just repair them with these! It saves you money and helps to reduce waste.
